1. General provisions
By using the Roomy platform, you agree to these terms. Roomy provides a space for posting listings and communicating between users and is not a party to the transactions between them.
2. Listings
The user is responsible for the accuracy of the information they post. Listings that violate the law or platform rules may be rejected or removed by moderation.
3. Transaction safety
Roomy is not responsible for settlements between users. We recommend not paying any deposit before inspecting the property or item in person and keeping communication within the platform.
4. Account
You must keep your access credentials secret and are responsible for actions taken from your account.
5. Payments, escrow and payouts
Payments are processed by our payment provider; the guest's funds are received into the platform's account and held in escrow — they are not transferred to the host immediately. The platform's service commission is 8%, deducted upon payout. Escrow hold: a host's earnings become available for payout only 24 hours after the guest's check-out. This window allows for cancellations and disputes; during it the funds are held by the platform. Refunds: in case of cancellation or a resolved dispute, the refund to the guest is made only from funds still held by the platform for that host, so the platform never operates at a loss. A host can withdraw only their own released earnings. Payouts are processed by the platform upon the host's request via the chosen method (InstaPay / wallet / bank). Chargebacks: a card chargeback initiated after funds have been released and paid out remains the host's responsibility and may be withheld from future earnings.
